Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions clients ask before a project starts.

What does a custom web app cost?
A web app for a Swiss SME typically ranges from CHF 15,000 to CHF 80,000 depending on scope. Small tools with a few features start around CHF 15,000, mid-sized projects with multi-user logic and backend sit between CHF 35,000 and 60,000. For a concrete estimate use the cost calculator or get in touch directly.
How long does a typical project take?
From first conversation to launch, small projects take 3 to 6 weeks, mid-sized projects 2 to 4 months. Since there is no project manager and no agency coordination in between, we usually start within a few days of the inquiry.
What happens after launch?
After launch you get a 30-day bug warranty at no extra cost. After that we agree on a maintenance retainer if needed, or keep working project-based. The code belongs to you. You are never locked in.
Do you only work with Swiss SMEs?
The focus is on Swiss SMEs because I know the legal situation (DSG, UWG), payment habits and market specifics in detail. Projects from the DACH region are also possible. Communication runs in German or English.
How are you different from an agency?
You talk directly to the developer writing the code. No project manager, no sales layer, no coordination loops. That saves not only weeks of lead time but also the typical agency markup of 30 to 50 percent.
Which technologies do you use?
For web apps I work with Next.js, TypeScript and React for the frontend and Postgres as database. For AI integrations I use the Anthropic Claude API. Deployment runs through Vercel. This stack is stable, well documented, and can later be maintained by other developers.
